Haiti native Bunette Nazaire was born and raised in the small town of Cerca-Carvajal, where the values of hard work, compassion, and community service were deeply rooted in her upbringing. From a young age, she was inspired by her father, Solon Joseph, a dedicated carpenter whose home was always open to others—whether providing meals to those in need or teaching people the trade so they could build better futures for themselves.
Watching her father serve others with generosity and humility shaped Bunette’s life mission: to uplift and care for people in need. His example inspired her passion for service and her determination to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
In 1995, Bunette immigrated to the United States with dreams of creating greater opportunities while continuing to serve her community on a larger scale. Through dedication, perseverance, and compassion, she became a Registered Nurse, known for her hardworking spirit, professionalism, and genuine love for caring for others.
Driven by gratitude for her roots and the legacy of her father, Bunette plans to establish a foundation in honor of Solon Joseph to support humanitarian and healthcare initiatives. Her ultimate dream is to one day build a clinic in Cerca-Carvajal bearing both her name and her father’s name—a place where the people of her hometown can receive quality healthcare, hope, and healing.
